“Covegating” at McNamara Cove is coming to UCF in 2020! The name was approved by the University’s Board of Trustees bringing college football’s most unique gameday tailgating experience one step closer to completion.
UCF will offer 250 all-inclusive “Covegating” membership packages for all regular-season home football games that includes food, beverage and parking among other amenities. There will be other smaller single-day rentals for corporate and social events.

Originally announced last November as a planned project, McNamara Cove construction will begin soon after the current football season and be completed by the start of the 2020 football season. The Cove project is being privately funded – and no state, University or student funds are part of funding it. The cove is being a reality thanks to a generous gift commitment of $1 million from Tom (UCF Class of ’88) and Stacey (’89) McNamara and their daughters Shannon, Erin and Megan.
