Motörhead is reporting a new documentary on Hollywood’s legendary The Rainbow Bar and Grill will feature their favorite patron, Lemmy Kilmister. The film, aptly titled, “The Rainbow” tells the full, unadulterated story of both this iconic venue that opened its doors in 1972 and the Maglieri family, who continue to maintain it’s distinctive atmosphere.
Along with Lemmy, the film highlights favorite stories of ‘The Bow’ and the Strip by other rockers including Ozzy Osbourne, Slash, Gene Simmons and Lita Ford. If you happen to find yourself in Hollywood you can grab tickets to the premiere and hit The Rainbow for the after party. Or, if you prefer to take in your documentaries on the couch – you can pre-order The Rainbow on iTunes and check it out Oct. 29th.
