By now…EVERYONE knows who Adam Sandler is, right? Well, Brad Pitt and Adam sat down with Variety not too long ago and Brad happened to share an interesting story about why he loves Adam so much,
While Adam was attending NYU, his acting teacher asked him if he would like to go to the bar and grab a beer. While they were drinking, the teacher took that opportunity to “Help”. He told Sandler, “Think about something else. Listen, you got heart, but you don’t have it. Choose another path.”
As you can see…Adam didn’t listen is is VERY successful now. The part of the story Brad Pitt was so fond of was when Adam was out with some of his friends, he ran into that teacher. Now, he COULD have totally ragged on him and rubbed it in his face… but he introduced his friends and said, “This is the only teacher to ever buy me a beer.”
Brad said, quote, “This is my favorite Adam Sandler story and I think it says a lot about you . . . That’s the guy I know, and I think that’s why you’re here after all these years.”
