UPDATE (7:41 AM EST): Daytona Beach International Airport confirmed on Twitter that a bag was flagged during a security check, causing the evacuation. The bag has since been cleared and normal operations are resuming

UPDATE (6:50 AM EST): The Volusia Sheriff’s Office confirmed in an email that the airport is shut down due to a suspicious package. No other details are available.
