This is some exciting news!
James Hetfield will be making his first public appearance since his stint in rehab on January 30th. It will be at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles for the opening of his car collection. Hetfield will be holding a fireside chat, as well as auctioning off two of his limited edition ESP guitars – a Snakebyte and a Vulture.
The collection, which is called Reclaimed Rust: The James Hetfield Collection will be on display through October. Hetfield will also be publishing a book about the collection on May 5th. It’s called Reclaimed Rust: The Four-Wheeled Collection of James Hetfield.

Hetfield has remained out of the public eye since entering rehab on September 27th, and I am definitely glad he’s getting back out.
And who could forget Metallica will be coming to Daytona Beach, for 2 shows May 8 & 10 at Welcome To Rockville!
