We all see the people wearing latex gloves and some with cloth gloves because of the Coronavirus. What most don’t realize is that it’s giving a false sense of security, especially if they aren’t using them correctly.
You’ll see people touching everything because they have the gloves on. Then they’ll touch their phones, dig in their purse, fidget with their wallet, touch their door handle, steering wheel… they continue to touch EVERYTHING!
Gloves can still spread the virus, and could possibly be worse than just using bare hands…and it’s possible that germs stick to latex gloves BETTER than they stick to your own skin!
A lot of people don’t know how to properly take the glove off either! The CDC has a website that shows how to SAFELY take the gloves off.
Also, if you’re going to wear gloves… make sure they go in the proper trash receptacle!
