Daytona Beach, FL – In the past week, Florida saw the largest decline, five cents, in gas prices in the country. The current average is $2.40 for a gallon of regular gasoline.
The state average has fallen for the past 10 consecutive days for a total of seven cents. The average price today in Volusia County is $2.35.
Gasoline demand, according to the latest Energy Information Administration report, is now reflecting the most fall-like numbers since the end of September.
Florida’s state average is the 13th lowest in the U.S. The national average increased by one cent to $2.61.
Triple-A Florida reports that Florida drivers are paying 18 cents per gallon less than this time last year.
