Not even the coronavirus can keep Florida man from doing his thing.
According Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, 28-year-old Florida man Donnovan Russell Jester allegedly stole a 46-foot Jeanneau Leader in March, cruised off and then promptly slammed the yacht into four channel-marker pilings. Jester then abandoned the luxury boat, leaving it to drift in an oyster bed.
Deputies say in the arrest report that a thumbprint led them to Jester and he has been charged with grand theft of a vessel.
