‘Tis the season of most excellent mugshots. A Florida man and seasonal UPS worker was arrested Tuesday for allegedly stealing packages containing expensive electronics from a company he had previously delivered packages. According to WSVN-TV in Miami, Emmanuel Lamont Reggin Jr., 18, was hired to assist UPS drivers with deliveries and allegedly went back to a business where they had previously delivered packages and took them.
On Monday night surveillance video caught him hide the items he later stole inside and under nearby dumpsters. Those packages containing two kindles, an iPad and a tablet computer. Reggin Jr. THEN did the same thing to the same company the next day however, this time a manager saw him on video footage grabbing two boxes from under a dumpster. That time the packages contained wo PlayStation 4 game consoles and a laptop.
Police picked up Reggin Jr. and found the stolen goods at his home and he was charged with third-degree grand theft, according to a report. If convicted he could could face up to 5 years in prison.
UPS, told WSVN-TV, said they are “working with law enforcement, and the person in question is no longer employed by the company.”
