A Fort Pierce, Florida woman was pulled over last month last month and during the traffic stop the officers detected the smell of marijuana. The 46-year-old woman, who was unidentified in the police report, told them she had a medical marijuana card and marijuana and pointed to a sweatshirt where they could locate it for verification.
But, when the officer picked up the sweatshirt a crack pipe fell out so they searched the vehicle. Under the seat, police found a container from a medical marijuana business, but instead of marijuana they found half dozen rocks of crack cocaine inside.
If you are not familiar with the Florida MMJ card, it doesn’t cover crack. So she was arrested for cocaine possession.
