I’m not saying what they did was right but I am saying that I’m impressed. While under arrest in the back of a police vehicle, a handcuffed Florida couple took off their clothes and started having sex before they were eventually interrupted by a sheriff’s deputy.
It all started around 11:40 pm on Friday the 13th when a cop stopped a man and woman riding bicycles with no lights on down a street in Fernandina Beach near Jacksonville. A Nassau County Sheriff’s Office deputy noted in the report obtained by the Smoking Gun that they were almost hit by a vehicle and when he stopped to question them, suspects Megan Mondanaro, 35, and Aaron Thomas, 31 were said to have both smelled of booze, had bloodshot eyes, and slurred speech.
“Megan was arrested and placed in the backseat of my patrol vehicle,” after Officer Mark Hunter concluded she was cycling while impaired and refused to perform a field sobriety test. Thomas performed poorly on sobriety tests and showed “signs of impairment,” and was also subsequently arrested. A search of Thomas’s backpack turned up seven full cans of Four Loko and one empty and Thomas said they were coming from the Hammerhead Beach Bar when stopped.
Aaron was arrested and placed in the backseat of my patrol vehicle with Megan, who was already arrested, both handcuffed, Hunter noted. While Hunter was outside his squad car waiting for a transport vehicle to take them to jail, “Megan and Aaron took their clothes off and started to have sex,” according to arrest reports. When Hunter saw what was going on he “opened up the door to stop them.” Hunter states, “Aaron was naked and Megan had her pants down where her vaginal area was visible. I also observed her bra was half way off and her breasts were fully visible.”
And here is where it gets even more exciting, as Thomas was being removed from the cruiser, he pulled away from a second deputy who was knocked to the ground… so he ran… naked and with his hands handcuffed in front of his body… tthrough a parking lot before being found at a nearby Cold Stone Creamery.
While being transferred, Mondanaro “became violent and starting kicking at” a deputy and suffered abrasions on her face (as seen in the above mug shot) while being forced to the ground. Mondanaro, needs $12,508 bond, and has been charged with DUI, resisting officers, exposure of sexual organs, and engaging in lascivious acts. Thomas, who is being held without bond, faces similar charges, as well as escape and making threats against public officials.
This should be a lesson to everyone in how quickly things can go , bad when you decide to have sex in the back of a police cruiser while being arrested.
