Before there was South Park, there was Beavis and Butt-head on MTV. A series that also started from a short film but lived a much shorter life on TV only spanning 7 seasons from 1993 to 1997.
Until now.
Comedy Central and original series creator Mike Judge are teaming up to re-launch the franchise with two new seasons, spinoffs and specials. Judge will write, produce, and voice the show, which follows our heroes Beavis and Butt-head in a “whole new Gen Z world.”
There’s no word on when the series will debut but according to Judge, “It seemed like the time was right to get stupid again,” and we couldn’t agree more!
