The first take of “Roadhouse Blues,” the lead-off to Morrison Hotel, didn’t make it to the fifth album, but appears on the 50th-anniversary box set of Morrison Hotel due out October 9th. In this alternate take Jim Morrison sets the scene for the rest of the bad.
