On July 12, 1962, The Rolling Stones played their first ever concert at The Marquee Club in London. The attendance was a few hundred.
51 years, and 1 day later, on July 13, 2013, The Rolling Stones played another concert (walking distance form the old Marquee Club), this time at Hyde Park in London. The attendance was over 130,000.
On this broadcast of Live in Concert, we’re going back to the Stones’ “50 and Counting” silver anniversary tour. We’ll hear this Hyde Park concert, captured live on the final night of the tour, July 13, 2013. It was everything you’d expect from The Stones!
