No matter how you slice it. This. Is. Wrong.
Normally I try not to get outraged by the same things that Twitter gets outraged by but some things demand attention. WARNING: If you already aren’t a fan of St. Louis, this isn’t going to help.
A man by the name of Alek Krautmann tweeted, “Today I introduced my coworkers to the St. Louis secret of ordering bagels bread sliced,” along with a picture of defiled bagels from a Panera Bread in St. Louis. And that’s when Twitter, along with almost everyone in New York, had a carb-loaded meltdown.
“It was a hit,” he said but we can’t wrap our heads around it and I’m pretty sure most of New York took personal offense to it.
“On behalf of the New York Delegation: St. Louis, fuhgeddaboudit,” said Senator Chuck Schumer.
Thank you for reporting this crime, but we only serve New York City, where this would NEVER happen. https://t.co/dNCyX56svk

“Why?” the manager of New York’s bagel stop Zabar’s told the New York Post, “That’s bizarre… I’ve never seen it done and I don’t know the purpose of it. If someone asked for that, they’d be looked at like they were from another country.”
