Daytona Beach, FL – Sixth District Congressman Michael Waltz is conducting interviews with local veterans in the area so their stories can be part of the Library of Congress Veterans History Project.
Waltz, himself a combat-decorated Green Beret, says our veterans have a rich history of service to our nation. He invites veterans from all conflicts to share and preserve their stories through audio and visual interviews for archival with the Library of Congress.
For veterans that often feel a disconnect when they come home, Waltz says this initiative can serve as a way to share their experiences and find recognition and support here at home.
Waltz asks that anyone interested in taking part in the Veterans History Project go to his website and fill out the application.
