Josh from S.R. Perrott stopped by The Morning HOG studio to pay Riggs & Steve a visit for another Brew Review featuring some classic dad beers. First up, we have a beer rushing in from the Colorado Rockies with Coors Banquet. Clocking in at 5% ABV, this beer is pale straw to gold in color, pouring a medium head that dissipates within 2 minutes. An unusually fruit-forward nose for an adjunct lager jumps from the glass with aromas of banana peel, pear, & creamed corn. Hints of wet grain & wood chips creep in behind the initially bright burst. Next up is one from within the same family with Miller High Life. With an easy-going ABV of 4.6%, its crisp, easy-drinking flavor is the epitome of the American lager category. True to its original recipe, it’s brewed with a proprietary blend of malted barley, hops from the Pacific Northwest, & Miller yeast.
The boys took a super quick recess. And when they returned, they dove back into the brew pool with a HUMONGOUS 32 oz can of Pabst Blue Ribbon with an ABV similar to High Life @ 4.7%. Crafted with a hefty infusion of 6-row barley & a unique combination of Pacific domestic hops blended with an imported Yugoslavian variety for a smooth, robust finish that is reminiscent of a fine Pilsner. Nature’s choicest products provide its prized flavor. Only the finest of hops & grains are used. And last but not least, we’ve got a refreshing, light-bodied golden lager called Moosehead Lager with 5% ABV. This premium lager walks a delicate balance between malt sweetness & hop bitterness & is made using only quality ingredients including 100% Canadian barley malt & naturally pure Spruce Lake water. This was $teve’s favorite one out of the 4. This’ll wrap up this weeks special Father’s Day edition of The Morning HOG Brew Review. We hope you enjoyed the presentation & if you’d like to pick up any of these, click here to find the closest S.R. Perrott dealer. Chug responsibly folks…..Cheers!!
