There’s a comedy show I watch about firefighters and I feel like this needs to be an episode next season.
Some cops in Salt Lake City, Utah got on a crowded elevator last week and the thing got stuck. They ended up needing to call 911 for help.
The ironic part was the elevator was in a public safety building…the same public safety building that the 911 dispatchers happen to work.
So after explaining to the 911 operator that they were, in fact, serious, 911 sent out the fire department to come rescue them. Needless to say, the cops were less than enthusiastic about that plan. One of them even said, “I bet [the fire department] can’t wait to post this on social media.”
Which, of course, they did!
