A woman named Christina Hunger has created a soundboard that helps her dog talk to her. The San Diego based speech pathologist has figured out out to communicate with her dog using a board on the floor.
The board has been customized with over 20 “sound buttons” that her dog, Stella, can step on to let her know she wants. Stella can tell her when she wants to eat, play ball, go outside, and take a nap, among other things. Christina says Stella knows at least 29 words, and can even combines up to five words at a time to make a phrase or sentence.
Here are two clips of Stella using the board from Christina’s Hunger4Words Instagram page and if you are interested in learning more, check out her blog here.
