Two kayakers on a whale watching expedition near Avila Beach, California, got an up close and personal experience they weren’t expecting when they were nearly SWALLOWED by a humpback whale.
Luckily, neither of them were injured but both women were definitely surprised when the whale surfaced because the pod they were watching was pretty far away. Sometimes there’s one loner though, and this one was deep underwater right under them. When it whale surfaced to feed on fish with its jaws wide open, the women just happened to be there too.
